2009 Greenwave Volleyball Camp: "Camp of Champs" – Record 8 State Championship Titles
- July 20-23, 2009
- Newark Catholic High School
- Grades 2-5 : 9am-noon
- Grades 6-8 : 1-4pm
- Grades 9-12 : 6-9pm
- Cost: $75 includes T-shirt
- Camp is open to girls of all skill levels from all schools

New Wave 18-Gibson Wins Gold and Tops OVR Rankings
The 18s won their first 16-team tournament and were in 1st place in the OVR rankings last week (3/16/09). They placed second in gold on March 22, placing them at 7th in the OVR standings. Way to go 18s! Keep up the good work. The parents are really on board with cheering, clapping and singing. I understand that dancing may be next! – Pam Firich
Photos and Tournament Reports
Coaches and parents: To have your New Wave photos and tournament reports posted, send them to us at photos@newwavevbc.org. Digital files are preferred (followed by negatives; prints scan poorly). Please send sharp, well-lit, color-balanced photos. Cameras generally produce better results than cell phones. We can retouch photos to a degree, but fuzzy, low-resolution shots are beyond practical repair. Finally, send only photos that are to be published: whoever shoots the photos should edit out duplicates and low-quality photos. Sending hundreds of unedited photos will greatly delay their posting.
12-Hill Wins Gold at New Riegel Tournament!
With a come-from-behind win in the championship match, New Wave 12-Hill won the first New Wave Gold medal of the season. Congratulations!
Team Rosters and Mailing Lists
Rosters, tournament schedules, and announcements are listed on each team's own web page, as listed below. Mailing lists have been set up to ease communication for each New Wave team. To prevent spam, our mailing lists are accessible only to subscribers, and coaches and players are already subscribed. Coaches are also subscribed to their own mailing list, coaches@newwavevbc.org, to facilitate organizational communications. Players and parents: Contact your coach using their direct address, not using these mailing lists. Other players and parents do not want to see your private communications with your coach.
Weather, Tournaments, and Practices
Check the OVR Tournament Schedule for the status of upcoming tournaments. Always plan to arrive safely and in plenty of time. Practices could change due to weather, so check the website before you leave for your practice, and call your coach if you\'re not going to be able to make practice.
