KC Doup: Coach, 18-Doup

KC Doup graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelors Degree in Coaching and Management. He was a four year lettermen with the Newark High School Volleyball team. While playing at NHS he was honorable mention is Freshmen year, 2nd team OCC his sophomore and junior year. He went on to Bowling Green State University to play as their right side hitter for his freshmen year. KC came back and played for OSU-Newark as their setter where the team won their division. KC still plays in leagues in the Columbus area. KC has been coaching volleyball for six years now. He coached Roosevelt seventh graders for three years, and just finished his third year of coaching the freshmen girls at NHS. He has been part of the New Wave organization for six years. He has been ranked in the top ten every year that he has coached for New Wave. KC is looking forward to teaching the skills that he knows to his players. He is looking forward to a fun and successful season, hoping to keep his top ten ending at the end of the season to play for gold at Regionals.
